My Entry in Docrafts Creativity Magazine No 21
Thank you so much to everyone that voted for me, I have now made it into the second round of The Scrapbook Apprentice Comp and I am currently working on my next projects.
The photo is of me on my wedding day. I made the trail of my dress go outside of the photo frame. The banner says" Scrap space" but its hard to see the detail in the mag.
Update:
Thanks to everybody who voted for me and supported me, I am very grateful
My time in the competition has now ended.

Here is the story accompanying my Hello layout we needed to send in.
I stopped scrapbooking a year ago and sold all my supplies on eBay. I know, silly girl! Why? Well I think that’s one for the doctor’s couch! Best left in the vault for now. I am fresh, willing and able to start all over again with new ideas, techniques and products.
I tried simply inserting photos in albums for hubby, God love him, but he noticed I mounted them on cardstock, “just to give a bit of colour” I declared with a smile.
Then I stopped. They just looked naked and unfinished. They needed to be dressed and given the perfect accessories they deserved. So how will I accessorize?
With both products and collaboration from Docrafts creativity and yours truly – ‘the perfect apprentice’. I have ideas galore churning in my mind and I am ready to create and attend to those photos with that delicate balance of ingenuity that they deserve.

MY EXCITING NEWS
I entered the scrapbooking apprentices competition by printblocks and docrafts creativity magazine, and have been chosen as one of 12 finalists.
A great way for me to get back into scrapbooking.
The toughest Scrapbooking challenge undertaken in the UK is hitting Australian shores in 2010 as the new hunt begins for 12 aspiring designer/writers to compete for a chance to win a 12-month paid design role working with the producers of docrafts Creativity! Australian Edition.
If you think you have what it takes to compete in the cutthroat world of scrapbooking, and you are able to create inspiring designs to deadline, then you could be one of 12 finalists selected to compete!
Each issue will come with a new challenge, with design briefs issued under strict criteria where you will work with products from leading scrapbooking brands like Papermania, Doodlebug, We Are Memory Keepers, Clearsnap and more… all supplied to you FREE for use in each round.
At the end of each task the competitors will be whittled down through a combined online vote and a final boardroom cut. The chance to be paid to scrap, as well as to have FREE supplies for a full year is the ultimate “You’re Hired” package.
